Quick post, just gotta say why do we as a society spend so much time and energy trying to move backwards rather than focusing on moving forward? I remain apprehensive about the future, but I know I cannot dwell on this too much as I've got to go back to work and make money so I can pay rent, and I have a feeling it's like that for a lot of people, especially the ones directly effected by this change in law. I just hope me and my partner do not find ourselves in a situation where a miscarriage or some other tragedy occurs and then the state we're currently residing in (I moved btw, still in the south though) decides to charge her for murder or some other miscarriage of justice.
Either way, I stand in solidarity with those effected by this decision and hope that in due time things will get better; or they won't. Women are more than just vessels for babies, they're also people.
